Who We Are
Paxton: Owner/ Head Carpenter
Helping Hands Carpentry began in fall of 2020 after owner, Paxton Reed, graduated from UMass Amherst with two degrees in Sustainable Food and Farming (SFF) and Social Thought and Political Economy (STPEC). He began carpentry work while attending school, and discovered a passion outside of his academic studies. Paxton initially took on jobs alone, from holiday woodworking gifts to exterior trim replacements to cabinet installation. As business expands, Paxton hires full time, part-time, and temporary employees to keep up with demand.
